ITE kaakossa

ITE kaakossa project (2011-14) looked for contemporary folk artists from the southeastern part of Finland.  ITE-artists were documented by interviews, photographs and videos. The distinghuished artists from south-east of Finland were presented in exhibitions, videos and in a yearbook of ITE art.

The project also took part in preserving Veijo Rönkkönen`s life work, the Parikkala Sculpture park, so it can continue being open to the public as one of the most fascinating tourist attractions in the region.

The project was run by the Association for Rural Culture and Education, and funded by European agricultural fund for rural development.
