ITE kaakossa

ITE kaakossa project (2011-14) looks for contemporary folk artists from the southeastern part of Finland.  ITE-artists are documented by interviews, photographs and videos. The distinghuished artists from south-east of Finland are presented in exhibitions, videos and in a yearbook of ITE-art.

The project also takes part in preserving Veijo Rönkkönen`s life work, the Parikkala Sculpture park, so it can continue being open to the public as one of the most fascinating tourist attractions in the region.

Project is funded by European agricultural fund for rural development.
